Born from a real and urgent need, ISTAYSAFE empowers people to protect their drinks from spiking with confidence, style, and peace of mind.
How We Started
It all began with three classmates, Ēriks, Megija, and Kate, who started a student business in high school. The idea for ISTAYSAFE came after an incident at a local nightclub, where a drink was spiked. That experience made us think deeply about how common this problem is and what could be done to prevent it.
At first, we thought our small student project would end with the school year. But while other student companies faded away, ISTAYSAFE kept growing.
First milestones
Our first big breakthrough came with a partnership with one of Riga’s most popular nightlife venues - Tallinas Ielas Kvartāls. That collaboration gave us the first real feeling that we were building something important.
From there, we launched our online store, started receiving orders from around the world, and even began forming partnerships with like-minded brands and venues. When the school program ended, we knew this couldn’t be the end - this was just the tip of the iceberg.

Later, now only the two of us decided to turn our school idea into a real business, driven by one goal - helping people protect themselves and each other in social situations.
In September 2025, we celebrated our first official anniversary - marking not only a year of growth but also a year of creating real impact for people everywhere.
